2 ingredients easy apricot jam

Ingredients

  • 800 Grams apricots
  • 400 Grams granulated sugar

Instructions

1)First step, clean and dry jars

  • You can buy brand new jars or you can use old jars, always make sure the lid closes and it’s not broken. Clean them and dry them. Make sure they’re super clean inside specially.

2)Second step, prepare apricots

  • Clean the apricots, dry them with paper towels and remove the seed. Make sure there’s no seeds left on the apricot jam.

3)Third step, cook

  • Add sugar to the apricots and cook them for about 30 minutes, until you like the consistency of the jam. Maeve sure to stir constantly so it doesn’t stick to the pan and gets burned.

4)Forth step, fill the jars

  • Fill the jars with jam to the top, it should almost reach the lid, there should not be a lot of space. Now make sure you close them tightly.

5)Fifth step, sterilize jam

  • Put a towel, shirt or whatever clothing thing you have and put it at the bottom of the pot, and on the sides too. This will prevent the jars from breaking. Now cover them with water, it should be above the jar. Stove at high heat and once they start boiling set a timer for 40 minutes. Make sure it’s boiling all the time during the 40 minutes, it should not stop. You can then store them in a dark place, no need to keep them in the fridge.
