Today we are showing you guys how to make this Delicious froggy pizza (cutest thing ever easy to prepare) with all the steps
This is probably one of the cutest things we’ve ever made. Literally a froggy pizza with its stomach full of mozzarella cheese and pepperoni. It’s really easy to make and it doesn’t take much time.
You can make it by yourself at home or with your friends or family such a fun activity to do with them. A lot of people has been sending us pictures of their recreations and we never expected that…so many people made froggy pizzas.
To make the eyes and arms we used 100% cocoa chocolate but you can use bbq sauce, olives, balsamic vinegar, food coloring…there’s plenty of options for you to choose. I personally like the taste of chocolate on pizza but I’m sure that’s not everyone’s preference (I like pineapple pizza I mean that says a lot)
ingredients
YOU NEED

materials
YOU SHOULD USE
Even if it feels complicated to make it’s really easy and you only need basic ingredients, the best part of all is how you can customize it and add as many toppings as you’d like. We used pepperoni and cheese but you can change that and make it your own!
For the green you have many options, we used spirulina (seaweed) if you don’t add a lot it doesn’t add a lot of flavor.
You can also use food coloring / matcha or blended spinach but my favorite option is using spirulina.

Let me show you how to make these cuties !
RECIPE in cups and grams
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup (125 grams) of water
- 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp (113 grams) of All Purpose flour (AP FLOUR)
- 3/4 cup + 1 tbsp (113 grams) of Bread flour
- 1 tbsp fresh yeast
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp spirulina
TOPPINGS:
- Raw tomato (grate a big tomate add a tsp of olive oil and salt or blend a tomato) a lot of people likes to use tomato sauce but I personally don’t like it that way.
- Tinny pepperoni
- mozzarella cheese or any cheese on your choice
- oregano (we forgot to add it but you can add that and it will taste 10x times better )
- 100% cocoa chocolate for details
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Firstly In a bowl add AP flour, bread flour, water, fresh yeast, salt and spirulina.
2. Knead 10 minutes using your stand mixer of choice, if you don’t have any you can knead by hand but it may take you a little more time.
3. now you can add 1 tbsp of oil and knead for 5 more minutes. You’re gonna know your dough is ready when you grab a tiny piece and you pinch on the sides stretching it you will see a thin layer of dough it should not break
4. Place the dough in a previously oiled bowl and cover with a humid kitchen towel. I always allow the dough to raise by the fireplace, it needs a warm space to speed up the process a little bit. Allow the dough to raise for about 40 minutes or until it’s doubled in size.
5. Punch the dough and separate the dough into 4 balls I used a kitchen scale to make them the exact same size, you can weigh the dough/4 = x but you really don’t have to.
6. At this point you need to separate two tiny balls for the eyes. You form a ball and then you stick with a little bit of water the two tiny balls for the eyes. If they stick without water it’s better, with the recipe If you didn’t add any additional flour it should stick without any problems. <3
7. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes, the frogs should puff a little and have less imperfections.
8. Now you put a tiny bit of flour in your hands and press down the frog body really carefully, without pressing near the eyes. The eyes should be at table level.
9. Blend or grate one tomato and add it on the pizza. Put mozzarella cheese on top and pepperoni (or the toppings you like the most)
10. Bake at 200 C ————>(390F) for about 13 minutes. Pay attention to the oven because it may take less or more time. Keep an eye after 10 minutes ;,)
11. Finally, we did the eyes and body with chocolate but use whatever you like the most. Enjoy!!
We added some basil, literally all we had from our garden ;(

Haven’t tried this yet but making it tomorrow! It’s so cute! Can I keep the dough in the fridge/freezer until I want to cook it or should it be cooked immediately after the dough is ready?
noemiarcherr says
Hiii, yes you can keep it on the fridge! But do the Froggy shape after, don’t make the shape and then leave on fridge.
Tay says
Hi!! Can I covert the fresh yeast to use dry yeast?? I unfortunately don’t have access to fresh yeast!
noemiarcherr says
Hi, yes you can! Make sure to use lukewarm water and 6 grams of dry yeast. (In a bowl put yeast and water and wait until it’s bubbly) then add the rest of ingredients
Trung Thông Bùi says
Can i use vegetable oil instead
noemiarcherr says
Yes. You can use whatever oil you prefer.
