Nutella & Strawberries Tiramisu

A creamy, no-bake Nutella and strawberry tiramisu, made with fresh strawberries, lots of Nutella, mascarpone, and cream cheese, soaked in rich, chocolatey milk.

This Nutella tiramisu recipe was inspired by our Nutella tiramisu and Nutella tiramisu cake, both of which are very popular on our website and are loved. This variation includes strawberries, which make this Nutella dessert more refreshing.

The tiramisu is so creamy, perfectly sweet, and with the strawberries, it makes it so refreshing. This recipe doesn’t have eggs like our authentic tiramisu recipe would.

What is a Nutella & Strawberries Tiramisu

A Nutella and strawberries tiramisu is so much different from an authentic tiramisu; this version is an egg and coffee-free recipe, which makes it perfect for any age to enjoy, people who don’t like coffee.

Instead of eggs, we will use whipped cream, which will give it a nice, airy, and creamy texture. I think this recipe is perfect for any occasion, especially those days when you want to make an easy and quick dessert that is no-bake.

Because what I love about this recipe is that you can just assemble all of it in any dish you want, square, rectangular, round…

Grab These Ingredients

The ingredients you see in this recipe are the same you will find in recipes like our pistachio and vanilla tiramisu, Happy Hippo, Kinder, and Biscoff tiramisu. They are all very similar recipes as we follow the same base recipe.

  • Nutella: You will need Nutella in different steps in this recipe, for the milk, filling, and decoration.
  • Milk: instead of a coffee mixture, we are making a chocolate milk mixture. This will be needed for soaking the ladyfingers.
  • Ladyfingers or savoiardi: don’t oversoak the ladyfingers or they will be too soggy.
  • Mascarpone cheese: it’s similar to cream cheese, but sometimes it can be harder to find; you can substitute by using all cream cheese.
  • Cream cheese: full-fat, room temperature. We are doing half and half for this Nutella tiramisu recipe, so it has the best texture.
  • Powdered Sugar: It will sweeten the tiramisu.
  • Heavy whipping cream: whip it until medium peaks.
  • Salt: enhances the flavors and balances the sweetness.
  • Strawberries: they add freshness to the tiramisu dessert.

Don’t forget to add salt to this recipe; it’s often overlooked, but it will enhance the overall flavor of this tiramisu. We use it in many recipes, such as cinnamon rolls, Nutella cookie pies, and Ferrero Rocher crepe rolls.

  • Slightly over ½ cup (125g) full-fat cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups (500g) mascarpone cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup (280g) Nutella, room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp (0.8 g) fine sea salt

CHOCOLATE MILK

  • 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
  • ½ cup (140 g) Nutella

ASSEMBLE

  • 12 fresh strawberries
  • First layer 14 ladyfingers
  • Second layer 14 ladyfingers

DECORATE

  • 1 cup (280g) Nutella, melted

Instructions

  1. To prepare this delicious Nutella and strawberries tiramisu, we will start by whipping 1 cup (235 ml) heavy whipping cream (min 35% fat) with ½ cup (72 g) powdered sugar. Use a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment and whip until it reaches soft-medium peaks.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine slightly over ½ cup (125 g) full-fat room temperature cream cheese with 2 cups (500 g) room temperature mascarpone cheese with a spatula until it’s soft and creamy.
  3. Add 1 cup (280 g) of room-temperature Nutella and combine. Fold in the whipped cream and add ¼ tsp (0.8 g) fine sea salt. Fold everything until just combined.
  4. Prepare the chocolate milk by warming up together 1 cup (240 g) whole milk with ½ cup (140 g) Nutella, mixing it well until it’s melted and combined.
  5. Wash and dry 12 whole fresh strawberries, remove the green part from them, and slash them in half.
  6. Assemble the Nutella tiramisu by using an 8 x 8 inch (20 x 20 cm) square pan with a removable bottom. Dip 14 ladyfingers and place them at the base of the pan, making sure to dip one by one, making sure not to over-soak them.
  7. Place all of the strawberries with the flat part facing the pan wall so they stay there without moving.
  8. Add half of the tiramisu filling and smooth it out. Dip the 14 ladyfingers in the chocolate milk and place them on top of the filling. Add the rest of the Nutella mixture and smooth it out, refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
  9. To decorate, melt 1 cup (280 g) Nutella on gentle heat until it’s fully melted, make sure it’s not too hot or it will melt the tiramisu. Pour it over the mixture and tilt the pan to spread it all over the dessert.
  10. Slice and serve.
