what to use instead of Nutella
if you donโt like Nutella you can use another brand of chocolate spread. They all work fine, here you have some other options you may wanna try instead of using chocolate with your pancakes.
- Fruits (bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries.)
- Whipped cream, you can add this and it eat with fruits as well.
- syrup
- chocolate chips
- yogurt
- lemon and sugar
- peanut butter (you could make the same thing we did with the Nutella, freeze the peanut butter and jam, put it in the middle, cover it with more pancake batter..)
- honey
- Bacon, cheese, herbs..
- classic pancake with butter on top and maple syrup.

- 2 eggs
- 100 grams granulated sugar
- 250 grams milk
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 270 grams all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
more
- 100 grams Nutella

batter
1)First step, eggs with sugar
To make delicious Nutella stuffed pancakes begin by cracking two eggs into a clean and dry bowl. Add sugar to the eggs and whisk for about 1 minute.
(before making pancakes you should freeze Nutella in a round shape so its ready to use for later)
2)Second step, ingredients
after whisking the eggs with the sugar together add the dry ingredients, baking powder and all purpose flour. Then add the milk to the mixture.
3)Third step, mix
Now you wanna throughly mix the batter to ensure all the ingredients are well combined. Once the milk is fully incorporated you can now add the oil (or you can use butter instead) and mix again.
cook
4)Forth step, cook
After preparing the batter you will need to heat a non stick pan on low heat, add a drop of oil and spread it evenly using a paper towel. Then you can pour the pancake batter into the pan, cover it with a lid and let it cook for about 3 to 4 minutes.
5)Fifth step, nutella
after 3 minutes it should be halfway cooked and you can add the frozen nutella by gently pressing it into the partially cooked pancake. Then cover the Nutella with some more batter (donโt use a lot just enough to cover the chocolate). Cover the pan again with a lid and allow it to cook about 2 to 3 more minutes on low heat.
*adjust the time as needed, it may vary depending on the thickness of the pancake and the heat on your stove*
6)Sixth step, flip pancake over
once you see bubbles forming on the surface of the pancake it indicates that it is almost cooked on that side so you can carefully flip the pancake over using a spatula. After flipping the pancake youโll continue cooking it for about 2 more minutes or until fully cooked.
7)Seventh step, eat
Now its ready to eat! You can add some syrup on top, chocolate chips, strawberries or whatever you like with your pancakes.
*we mixed our Nutella with some oil thatโs why the chocolate its extra runny*
