Kinder Bueno Sushi Crepes! After the wild success of our Sweet Sushi recipe, we’ve created something even more special. While inspired by the same playful concept, this version features delicate crepes wrapped around a luscious Kinder Bueno filling—perfect for parties, dessert tables, or a fun weekend treat.

Okay, real talk: I’ve never tried actual sushi. Why? Between my picky eating, trust issues with strangers making my food, and the whole “rolling sushi is way too much work” thing, it’s just never happened. But this Kinder Bueno sushi crepe recipe? This I can get behind.
We took the viral sushi-style trend (thank you, Pinterest!) and made it actually crave-worthy for us picky folks

Here’s what we did: We prepared the crepes and filled them with Nutella and Kinder Bueno spread. We added two Kinder Buenos to each crepe and rolled them up. The recipe is really easy, and the process of making them is super fun!
We have another version of this recipe featuring different sweet sushi crepes:
- Oreo-cream
- Kinder Bueno (different style)
- Banana-Nutella
They’re so good! We also have another variation for this recipe that we believe everyone will love. A little hint: It has Oreo but it’s not a crepe..

Remember, here you’ll find the list of ingredients with possible variations and equipment—this is not the list with quantities. If you want to go straight to the recipe, scroll down to the recipe card or click “Jump to Recipe” at the top of the page. Happy baking!
- Eggs: Provide structure and richness to the batter.
- Milk: Creates a smooth, pourable consistency and adds flavor.
- Sugar: Sweetens the crepes perfectly.
- All-purpose flour: Forms the base of the batter for ideal texture.
- Melted butter: For richness (we typically use this). Substitute: Sunflower oil or margarine work too—we’ve used sunflower oil here!
- Nutella: We will add it to the filling.
- Kinder Bueno spread: we are using ‘white chocolate hazelnut butter’ from prozis. It was kindly gifted to us and they gave us a discount code for any product you purchase in their website using the code: ARCHERSFOOD. This spread tastes just like kinder bueno filling.
- Kinder Buenos: They’re the star of this recipe.

Special Tools
- Mixing bowl: For combining all ingredients.
- Sieve: To achieve a perfectly smooth, lump-free batter.
- Whisk: For thorough mixing of the ingredients.
- Non-stick pan or crepe pan: Ensures even cooking and easy flipping.
- Ladle: Helps pour the perfect amount of batter.
- Spatula: For gently lifting and flipping the crepes.
Use a non-stick pan or a crepe pan if you have one. The first time you’re using it, it’s better to add some butter or oil to the pan and spread it with a paper towel
How to Build a Kinder Bueno Crepe
For the most decadent version: Spread Nutella over the crepe, add a drizzle of Kinder Bueno spread (or melted Kinder chocolate), place two Kinder Buenos bottom-to-bottom in the center, roll it up tight, and slice into sushi pieces. That’s it—maximum indulgence, zero fuss.

Sushi Crepes Filling Ideas
Want to try something different? Here are some wild crepe fillings to test:
- Strawberry-Nutella Crepes: Swap the Kinder for fresh strawberries and banana slices. Sweet, fruity perfection!
- Biscoff Sushi Crepes: Use Biscoff spread + crushed Biscoff cookies for a caramel crunch.
- Brownie-Stuffed Crepes: Fold in brownie chunks for next-level decadence—trust us, it’s insane!

Best Tips for Perfect Sushi Crepes
- Golden Rule: Never overcook the crepes! They’re perfect when they look like sun-kissed silk – lightly golden with just a few delicate brown spots. If they turn dark brown, they’ll lose that dreamy tenderness.
- Batter Secret: Always sieve your batter, even when it looks smooth. Why? Tiny flour clumps love to hide and then surprise you with gritty texture later. Sieving guarantees that luxurious, velvety consistency that makes crepes melt in your mouth. Pro tip: Sieve directly into another bowl to catch any stubborn lumps!
- Bonus Technique: Let the batter rest for 30 minutes after sieving. This allows: Gluten to relax. The flour to fully hydrate, air bubbles to settle. Result? Even more tender crepes!
Once you’ve mixed all the ingredients, place a sieve over another bowl and pour the crepe batter through it. This will ensure the batter is lump-free!

How to Serve
Presentation Perfection: Slice the Kinder crepe rolls into sushi-sized pieces and arrange them on a wooden board. Serve with:
- A side of warmed Kinder sauce (or Nutella) for dipping
- Fresh fruit like berries, banana slices, strawberries, or kiwi for brightness
- Optional: Dust with powdered sugar or cocoa for that bakery-worthy finish

How to Make Kinder Bueno Sushi
1. Start by combining all-purpose flour, sugar, melted butter, and eggs in a bowl. Gradually add milk and mix until you have a smooth batter. Sieve the batter to ensure it’s lump-free and super smooth. This is a very easy crepe batter recipe!

2. Heat your best non-stick or crepe pan over medium heat. Add a small amount of oil or butter (about ½ tsp), swirling to coat the surface.
3.Pour a ladle of batter into the center, then immediately tilt and rotate the pan to spread it into a thin, even circle.
4.Cook until the edges lift and the surface looks dry (about 1-2 minutes), then flip carefully with a spatula. The second side needs just 30 seconds to finish—you want them golden, not crispy!

5. Spread Nutella evenly over the crepe, drizzle with Kinder spread, then use Nutella as ‘glue’ to stick two Kinder Buenos together (flat sides touching). Place them near the edge, roll tightly, slice into sushi-sized pieces, and enjoy the gooey, crunchy magic!
