Filled with Nutella, chocolate disks, and crushed Ferrero Rochers, they’re perfect for a cozy morning, festive brunch, or indulgent dessert. Once you take a bite, you won’t want to stop, and they’re surprisingly easy to make at home!
In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes until bubbly. If no bubbles appear, start again with fresh yeast.
Add all-purpose flour, one egg, softened butter, and a little extra sugar. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough for 15 minutes until smooth, soft, and elastic.
Transfer to a lightly greased bowl, cover, and let it proof in a warm spot for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until it doubles in size.
