Perfect for chocolate lovers craving a quick and indulgent treat!

Ingredients

crust

  • 200 grams Oreo cookies
  • 45 grams melted butter

cheesecake

  • 500 grams cream cheese
  • 200 grams Nutella
  • 50 grams powdered sugar
  • 200 grams heavy whipping cream (35% fat)
  • 100 grams chopped cold chocolate

decoration

  • 150 grams Nutella
  • Crushed Oreo crumbs
  • chopped chocolate

Instructions

crust

  • Crush Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin and ziplock bag. Mix with melted butter until it resembles wet sand.
  • Press firmly into the bottom of your pan to create an even crust

  • Refrigerate or freeze while you prepare the cheesecake filling.

cheesecake filling

  • In a large bowl, add the room-temperature cream cheese and work it with a spatula, then add Nutella. Use a silicone spatula or a spoon to mix them together until completely smooth and creamy with no lumps.
  • In a separate cold bowl, pour in the heavy cream and add the powdered sugar. Whip the cream using an electric mixer until it reaches soft peaks. Be careful not to overwhip as it can turn grainy and ruin the light texture needed for folding into the filling.

  • Add half of the whipped cream into the Nutella cream cheese mixture. Gently fold it in with a spatula, turning the bowl as you go to keep the mixture airy. Once almost incorporated, fold in the remaining whipped cream until the filling is smooth and fluffy with no streaks.

  •  Finally, fold in the chopped cold chocolate pieces carefully to create the stracciatella texture. Make sure the chocolate is cold so it stays in small pieces rather than melting into the filling.
  • Take the prepared crust out of the fridge. Pour all the cheesecake filling into the pan over the Oreo base. Use a spatula to spread it evenly, smoothing out the top so it looks clean and professional.

Chill the cheesecake

  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight cake container to protect it from fridge odors. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours, but ideally overnight, to let the cheesecake set completely for a firm, creamy texture that slices beautifully.

decorate

  • Once the cheesecake is fully set, melt some Nutella until it’s smooth and pourable.
  • Drizzle the melted Nutella over the top, tilting the pan slightly to spread it evenly for a glossy finish. Crush a few Oreos and sprinkle them around the edges or on top for a beautiful and delicious decoration before slicing.
  • Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan. Run a thin knife around the edge if needed to loosen it cleanly. Slice using a sharp knife, wiping it clean between each cut for neat, professional slices. Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy Nutella stracciatella cheesecake with every rich, chocolatey bite.
