- 4 tablespoons Nutella
egg mixture
- 150 grams milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
more
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
1)First step, bread
- Start by cutting all the edges in your bread, then cut it in half. Use a spoon to sink the bread right on the middle so you can stuff it with more Nutella. Spread a good amount of chocolate spread making sure to add it on both sides, bottom and top.
2)Second step, close
- Now close the bread, add another slice of bread on top. If you want you can seal the edges using a fork.
3)Third step, mix
- In a large plate or bowl, crack one egg, add the milk, granulated sugar and cinnamon, Mix using a whisk until you can’t see more egg lumps on the mixture. You will see how the cinnamon doesn’t melt or mix properly but that’s completely fine.
4)Forth step, bread
- Soak the bread into the mixture for enough time both sides but making sure its not too soggy that’s why using old bread is the best option.
- Heat the pan over medium heat and add the butter, wait until it starts to bubble, place the soaked bread in the pan.
5)Fifth step, French toast
- Cook the Nutella French toast for about 4 minutes on each side or until it has a perfectly golden brown color. It’s gonna be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
- In a separate plate make the coating mixture, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon.
6)Sixth step, cinnamon sugar
- Once the French toast is cooked you wanna immediately transfer it into the cinnamon sugar mixture and fully coat it on both sides.
7)Seventh step, serve and eat
- You can serve them with fresh fruits on the side or even with more chocolate to dip your toast.
