  • 4 kinder bueno
  • 50 grams white chocolate chips

Instructions

step one, mix sugars together

  1. Start by pouring granulated sugar and brown sugar into a large mixing bowl. Use a whisk to mix them together until they are fully combined.

step two, add the cooled brown butter and mix

  1. Next, add the cooled brown butter to the sugar mixture. Using a stand mixer, whisk or electric mixer, mix on medium speed for about 5 minutes until the mixture is smooth and creamy. The brown butter not only adds a rich, nutty flavor but also helps create that irresistible, chewy texture in your Kinder Bueno stuffed cookies. Be sure to mix thoroughly to achieve the perfect consistency.

step three, Add the room temperature egg and vanilla

  1. Next, add the room temperature egg and vanilla extract to the bowl. Mix everything together on low speed until fully combined, ensuring the egg and vanilla are evenly distributed throughout the dough. The egg binds the ingredients together, while the vanilla extract enhances the flavor, making your Kinder Bueno cookies even more delicious.

step four, add baking powder, cinnamon and flour

  1. Now, add the baking powder and cinnamon directly to the bowl with the wet ingredients. Use a whisk to mix until everything is evenly combined. Then, gradually add the all purpose flour to the bowl and combine using a spatula. Mix until the dough comes together, but be careful not to overwork it, just until it’s fully incorporated.

step five, add the white chocolate chips

  1. Now, add the white chocolate chips to the cookie dough. Gently fold them in with a spatula, ensuring the chocolate is evenly distributed throughout the dough.

step six, stuff the dough with chocolate

  1. Take a large scoop of the cookie dough and flatten it slightly in your hand. Place 4 squares of milk chocolate in the center of the dough. Then, cover the chocolate with more dough and gently roll it into a ball, ensuring the chocolate is fully enclosed.

step seven, add extra chocolate and freeze

  1. Press a few more chocolate chips into the exterior of each dough ball for an extra chocolatey touch. Place the stuffed dough balls onto a lined baking sheet, making sure to leave enough space between each one. Once all the cookies are formed, place the baking sheet in the freezer for at least 30 minutes. Freezing the dough helps the cookies hold their shape and ensures the chocolate stays gooey and melty in the center while baking.

step eight, preheat the oven and bake

  1. Preheat your oven to 370°F (190°C). Once the oven is fully heated bake for 12 minutes for gooey, soft cookies with a melty center. If you prefer your cookies to be crunchy, bake them for an additional 1-2 minutes, keeping an eye on them to prevent overbaking. Once baked, remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool slightly before enjoying! Add kinder bueno on top of each cookie once it has cooled down slightly.
