Key Ingredients you need for a Ferrero Rocher Tiramisu
Let’s walk through the key ingredients that make this recipe so rich, creamy, and irresistible.
- Mascarpone Cheese: Mascarpone is essential for this recipe. It creates that classic creamy texture and adds a subtle tang that balances all the sweetness. It’s one of the most important ingredients in any good tiramisu.
- Nutella (or any chocolate spread): Nutella is the main flavor here, but feel free to use any chocolate spread you like. If you’re allergic to nuts, you can use a nut-free chocolate spread instead. This recipe is very easy to customize depending on your preferences or dietary needs.
- Ladyfingers (Savoiardi): These light, crisp biscuits are what give tiramisu its signature layered texture. Most grocery stores carry them, but if your local spot doesn’t have any, check a specialty store or the international foods aisle. I couldn’t find them at Walmart, so we had to visit another store.
- Whipped Cream, Beaten to Soft Peaks: Use 35 percent fat whipping cream and beat it until soft peaks form. This step helps make the cream filling fluffy and stable without making it too stiff or heavy. It’s a simple step that really improves the final texture of the cake.
This recipe makes about 10 to 12 portions, but you can easily adjust the size depending on how generous you want your slices to be. We use a springform pan, slightly larger than 17 cm x 6 cm, it actually measures closer to 20 cm x 7 cm.

How to make a Ferrero Rocher Tiramisu
This recipe follows a simple, familiar process just like our popular no-bake cheesecakes. For the base, we’re using a cookie crust — something we love creating here in the Archersfood kitchen.
We start by blending whole Oreos in a food processor. No need to remove the cream filling, we’re using the entire cookie. Once finely crushed, mix the crumbs with melted butter and Nutella until the texture resembles wet sand.

Pour the mixture into your springform pan, and begin pressing it up along the edges first. Once the sides are covered, press the rest evenly into the bottom. This creates a sturdy, chocolatey crust that holds everything together beautifully.

Place the crust in the freezer to firm up while we prepare the delicious filling.
Using a clean, dry bowl, whip the cream together with the powdered sugar until soft peaks form. This step doesn’t take long, especially if you use an electric whisk.

In a separate bowl, gently work the room-temperature mascarpone cheese together with the Nutella using a spatula. Once fully incorporated, add the whipped cream and fold everything together until you achieve a silky smooth texture.

To dip the ladyfingers, heat some milk and stir in Nutella until it melts completely, creating a smooth, chocolatey dip. Once that’s ready, you’re all set to start building your tiramisu cake.
How to Layer Your Ferrero Rocher Tiramisu
to layer the tiramisu, start by spreading a generous layer of Nutella over the Oreo crust. This helps keep the ladyfingers in place and makes slicing cleaner and easier.
Next, dip the ladyfingers quickly into the Nutella-milk mixture, then arrange them evenly over the bottom of the pan. You might need to cut some to fit, but that’s perfectly fine — it all comes together beautifully.

Cover the ladyfingers with half of the tiramisu mixture, spreading it evenly. Then drizzle some Nutella on top and carefully spread it out.
Be gentle when spreading the Nutella since the filling is soft — you want to keep those layers intact.

Now add a fresh layer of the soaked ladyfingers on top. Finish by spreading the remaining tiramisu filling over them, smoothing it out evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, this allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to set perfectly.

How to Decorate a Ferrero Tiramisu with Nutella
- Melt some Nutella until smooth.
- Pour the melted Nutella evenly over the chilled tiramisu cake.
- Use a spoon to gently spread the Nutella, then give the pan a slight shake to smooth out any marks or uneven spots.
- Decorate the top with whole Ferrero Rocher chocolates for that perfect finishing touch.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy every rich, creamy bite!

Best Tips to make a Tiramisu
- Make sure the mascarpone cheese is at room temperature before using — this helps it blend smoothly with the other ingredients.
- Use 35% heavy whipping cream and whip it just until soft peaks form.
- Chill the tiramisu in the fridge for at least 8 hours, or overnight for the best flavor and texture.
- Be careful not to overwhip the cream, as this can cause the tiramisu to curdle. The same goes when folding the cream into the mascarpone — gentle folding is key to a silky, smooth, and perfectly creamy texture.
