Biggest tip:
On this daisy mozzarella pizza we messed up big, we baked the whole thing at the same time so all the mozzarella spread everywhere, it was like no flowers at all. We literally had to bake some egg whites just to make it look pretty at the end.
And that’s why we are gonna be giving you the instructions on how to avoid this. We are baking first the crust, for about 10 minutes and then you decorate everything and you put it back in the oven for a couple more minutes, maybe even 5 if you want because it was after 5 minutes that the mozzarella stated going crazy.
Everyone probably knew this, but i knew and I was like nah it’s not gonna happen today because the pizza is pretty, and it doesn’t make sense at all. Just keep that in mind and as a result your daisy mozzarella pizza will end up being gorgeous.
Yeast:
Fresh yeast
For this recipe this time, we are using fresh yeast! This one is our favorite because you only have to mix everything without having to make a sponge each time and it always proofs faster.
Dry yeast
If you don’t have fresh yeast you can use active dry yeast. As long as you are using yeast. We are using 1 tablespoon of the fresh one on this so you wanna make sure to use 1 teaspoon of dry yeast. That you are gonna be mixing with lukewarm water. Make sure to wait for about 10 minutes and when you see bubbles on top it’s really to use.
Let’s make this super adorable pizza. Remember you can check our insta for daily updates:)

RECIPE in cups and grams
INGREDIENTS:
Dough:
- 125 ml (4.23 oz) of water
- 113 grams (0.9 cups) of bread flour
- 113 grams (0.9 cups) of all purpose flour
- 15 grams (1 tablespoon) fresh yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
Toppings:
- 50 grams (3 tablespoons) feta cheese
- 150 grams (1.34 cups) of tiny mozzarella balls
- 1/2 tsp of chili flakes
- Basil
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tsp of oregano
INSTRUCTIONS:
1)First step: mixing
Firstly, we are gonna start by adding the bread flour, all purpose flour, fresh yeast, extra virgin olive oil, water and salt in a mixing bowl or in the same stand mixer bowl. (Duck bowl here)
2)Second step: kneading
Using a stand mixer:
At this point you should pour all your dough in the stand mixer bowl if you weren’t using it already. Use the dough hook on medium speed for about 13 minutes or until you see the dough getting elastic.
With your hands:
If you don’t have a stand mixer you can do this recipe anyways. You wanna knead on a clean slightly floured surface for about 18 minutes. This picture is not from this recipe but -kneading.
this is how the dough should look like after kneading, make sure to cover it with damp paper!
3)Third step: first proof
this pizza needs two different proofs, this first one is gonna be 1h long but it really depends on the temperature of where you are leaving your dough proofing. Make sure it’s some warm place and it’s completely covered.
You should know if the Dough is ready when you see that it has doubled its size and its really puffy.
4)Fourth step: shaping
You should roll out he dough using a rolling pan if you can, I sincerely can’t so i always end up stretching the dough with my hands.
For the filling, we used some extra feta cheese we had and chili flakes. You can add any cheese you have i highly recommend you using a mix of mozzarella and feta and chopped parsley, we honestly didn’t use any of it because we both are scared of our turkey and he won’t let us go grab any from our graden without trying to eat us.
Stuff the crust with this mix.
5)Fifth step: second proof
Now you wanna allow the dough to rest for at least 10 minutes, you can cover it with damp paper or you can put some oil on top like we did.
6)Sixth step: bake
At this point you wanna bake your pizza crust for about 10 minutes at 230C or 446 F, the time really depends on your oven and on how baked you like your pizza to be, but then keep in mind we are in a future, not so far way we putting our pizzas back into the oven for a couple more minutes. By the time this is cooking you could prepare all the toppings!
7)Seventh step: decorate
This is my favorite step of all, you wanna decorate your pizza the way you’d like, we used some leftover tomato sauce our dad made to bake something I can’t even remember but it was super delicious, added yellow cherry tomatoes on top, tiny mozzarellas and oregano, and that’s it. But, you can add as many toppings as you’d like! As a result you will end up with a super cute pizza.
8)Eight step: second time bake
We are baking for a couple minutes at the same temperature just so everything gets warm and delicious.
