Tips
Making this 15 minute hot honey salmon bowl is quite simple but id like to share a few tips with you to make the process even easier, ensuring that you achieve perfect results every time you make it.
- Cut the salmon in cubes and leave the skin, the skin has fat that will help cook your salmon and it will also get super crunchy and it will be the perfect contrast of texture.
- when you are making the sauce don’t cook it for so long, always keep an eye on it, should take only a couple minutes to be ready and its so easy for it to burn and ruin the dish completely.
how to make it
You can use leftover rice for this 15 minute hot honey salmon bowl or you can start by making the rice. I like to mix the rice with some lime and chopped cilantro for my bowls. We cook the salmon leaving the skin for an added crunchiness.
We can chop all the ingredients which is gonna be probably the longest part because this dish can be prepare in less than 15 minutes. Add the lime, oil and salt on top and some toasted sesame seeds for extra crunch.
Because we are using honey that is sweet this dish is not gonna be super spicy but you can add more or omit the use of the hot sauce and jalapeño.
