BROWN BUTTER
By incorporating browned butter into your cookie it adds a nutty flavor to the baked goods. When the butter is heated and allowed to brown the milk solids in the butter caramelize, creating a deeper and more complex flavor profile. This gives them a unique and delicious twist compared to just using regular soft butter.
Browning butter also adds a subtle aroma that can elevate the sensory experience of enjoying the cookies.
to make brown butter itโs important to use a light colored pan so you can monitor the color change more easily, stir frequently, use medium/ low heat only, once the butter reaches a golden deep color remove it from the heat immediately.
